There are different types of staircases that are best suited for each space depending on their layout, architecture style and the end user.
I am loving the minimal yet grand appeal of this staircase in a Portugeese home designed by Manuel Maia Gomes. Not only is it an exquisite winding staircase, it is also a library in itself which is back-lit and includes plexiglass shelves. The beautiful balance between the white and warm wood on floors and ceilings make this space so much more harmonious and fresh.
The feature staircase is centrally located in the home which leads up to a tower.
